Amber has been a student of various yoga practices for more than 20 years. Her chosen style is Viniyoga: A therapeutic, breath-centric practice. She takes a holistic/therapeutic approach to yoga that is of body, mind, and spirit through a variety of modalities. She believes in a practice that is unique to each student and offers adaptations and the use of props as needed to allow each individual to gain accessibility and awareness of the mechanics of their own body. She is an advocate for empowering people in mind, body, and spirit.
Through her own practice, she has gained a deeper sense of self and balance in all areas of her life. As a person who has frequented the hospital for multiple life- threatening surgeries, her personal practice or sadhana, has been the source for her strength where she has cultivated great patience, learned mind/body awareness, become resilient mentally and emotionally, understood and put into practice the art of being adaptable for life’s uncertainties, as well as learn great appreciation for being present with herself and others.
She holds multiple teaching certifications in yoga and pilates where present moment breath centered awareness, the art of self exploration, interconnectivity of the self and others, and overall balance of stability and flexibility of body and mind are highlighted. Her love of exploration, connection, and learning keeps her engaged in ongoing travel and training.
Outside of yoga, Amber is a teaching Artist and owns Potts’ Papering. She considers nature her sanctuary.
