About Us | Meadville

Vitality Natural Health and Wellness Center is the natural health practice of Dr. Melissa Dengler, licensed naturopathic doctor. After graduating from naturopathic medical school and completing her residency in 2006 from Sonoran University (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine) in Arizona, Melissa moved back to her hometown in Pennsylvania. She began in her practice in 2007 working out of a medical doctor’s office in Erie, PA. As her practice grew and with many clients coming from the Crawford County area, she started a second location in Meadville, PA, practicing out of a 1-room office on Chestnut Street, all while continuing to teach massage therapy and a master’s degree program in holistic nutrition.

Over the next several years, Melissa’s practice continued to grow and she decided to make it her full-time work in 2013 moving into a larger location on Washington Street. The office has moved 2 additional times since then going from the Downtown Mall and now at its current location at the Park Avenue Plaza. Each move of the practice was a result of growth and expansion and growing out of the previous space. Vitality Natural Health is now housed in a beautiful 4600-square foot facility at a convenient location with ample parking.

The Meadville location is the largest of the 3 locations and is operated by a dynamic team of staff and practitioners. We are pleased to offer a retail store and the following services at this location: naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic medicine, health coaching, nutritional therapy, reflexology, Feldenkrais, reiki, ionic detox foot bath, infrared sauna, whole body cryotherapy, yoga, and health and wellness classes.

We look forward to seeing you at our Meadville location!

Diana is the smiling face you will encounter when arriving at Vitality Natural Health and Wellness Center. She will answer questions, assist in selecting products, schedule appointments and keeps order in the office. She takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Diana spent many years as a nurse in several settings. Assisting a surgeon in the operating room, working in two family practice offices and a urologist’s office are among her many accomplishments. With this experience, it was a natural transition to work in the office at Vitality.

Being a 70’s girl, she learned about natural therapies and found health benefits from various supplements. Upon her nursing training, she then followed the traditional medical protocols for herself and her family. Years later, she realized there were options to traditional medicine and began researching different modalities. Having found positive results from yoga, dietary changes, exercise, and supplementation, she was able to discontinue medications for rheumatoid arthritis. This led her to proceed on the path of natural alternatives as a part of her lifestyle.

Diana spends her non-working time caring for her family, teaching Sunday School, walking and staying in shape. Her strength comes from her Christian faith.
